Beverley Pinder has some three decades’ experience in the field of Public Relations and Reputation Management.
As an experienced communicator, she has undertaken extensive work for clients in corporate and marketing communications.
With a strong belief in ‘preserving reputation at any cost’, and making it work for you, Beverley has an insightful understanding of how to build and maintain a solid reputation in the marketplace with integrity and respect as key levers with all stakeholders including the media.
Beverley was a Councillor with the City of Melbourne from 2012-16 being proud of her achievements as chair of the Marketing Melbourne portfolio responsible for Events, Marketing, Tourism and Retail. She was also Deputy Chair of Arts and Culture.
While on Council, Beverley's strong focus was on connecting people with the City and all it has to offer making for a more vibrant and prosperous community. While she was chair of Marketing Melbourne this fabulous city, each year, retained its number one spot as The World's Most Liveable City.
Although she was unsuccessful at the 2016 Council elections, as a result of a countback, Beverley was sworn in as a Councillor to the City of Melbourne on 17 January 2018.
Beverley Pinder has had personal involvement in assisting charities and not-for-profits dating back to 1969.
She currently sits on the Advisory Board of the National Institute of Integrative Medicine and provides marketing and fundraising support to the team.
She is also a supporter of the Lighthouse Foundation providing counsel and assistance to the founder on a pro bono basis.
A reconnection with Father Bob Maguire means she is now also a great supporter of Father Bob's work as a member of the fundraising team as well as being a Patron.
